ORIGINAL: AdOMac ORIGINAL: rockgeek CD? Bought? You crazy kids... You wouldn't steal a purse? You wouldn't steal a car? You wouldn't steal a movie? Piracy is a crime Watch the trailer at the start of DVD sometime (I tend to use that time to get a drink/something to eat/have a wee though of course) piracy funds terrorism....... apparently

How does downloading something for free give terrorists any money?

How does downloading something for free give terrorists any money? Because Terrorism is one the most pointless and vague terms in all of existance, academics get stuck arguing in loops for years about what actually is terrorism and what isn't, infact there's a big movement to say it's not a useful term at all and we should just have more individual specific terms. Basically under the current perception of terrorism you can pretty much say anything is terrorism, that's how they get away with such a ridiculous statement.
