Couldn't find a thread on this, so here we go.

What albums have you bought recently?
What are they like?
Are they worth listening to?

I've bought loads of different one's this week.

Billy Talent - Billy Talent III
Husker Du/Warehouse: Songs and Stories
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
Green Day - 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours
Sex Pistols - Spunk
Feeder - Echo Park
Sonic Youth - Goo
Johnny Cash: The Silver Collection

I clearly spend too much on CD's.

Superunknown is amazing.

Last CD I bought was Scream by Chris Cornell. Amazing CD no matter what you all say.

Up the Irons! How are you finding those two? Any favourite tracks yet? I love Wasted Years from Somewhere...

And you can never spend too much on CDs!

I haven't bought a new CD for 3 weeks now which is the longest I've gone without one for as long as I can remember (probably 6 or 7 years since I went so long with such a gap)

My last CD was Imelda May's album 'Love Tattoo'

Hadn't for about two weeks before that though.

Powerslave is not bad although I have yet to listen to 'Somewhere...'

3 weeks? Wow that surprises me Adam!

7 Maiden albums down, many more to go!

I'm also inclined to do this. I bought the 2 Maiden albums on my lunch break in work on Tuesday which is another thing I tend to do.

I used to do that when I worked in a town centre too

Lunch breaks used to cost me a lot of money but I built up my CD collection pretty quickly

Spotify has somewhat halted me from spending as much money on CDs!

Recent purchases:

Tool - 10,000 Days
Brand New - The Devil and God....
Radiohead - The Bends (I never had a CD copy! And that annoyed me..)
Dream Theatre - Octavarium

Yeah I go by the theory that if I like a new album enough after listening to it on there I will then go out and buy it...
